Okay, this one was definitely not for me. I like SF, I like fantasy, but this didn’t work for me.
An alien who crash landed his spaceship on Earth think he takes a ride with some kind of transportation device to where ever. Unfortunately it was not a transportation device but a big truck. Somehow he, the alien and the truck ends up in a large spacecraft, and then a lot of nothing happens around a case. We never learn why that case was so important or what was in it. I haver read reviews comparing this with The hitchhikers Guide and Futurama, but then they most have read another version of this book.
The characters were okay-ish, but the world building could have been much better.
